While some might call these buildings ugly or undesirable because they don't fit an idealized view, I find them beautiful. These back alleys, rooftops, and in-between spaces are witness to the lives, hopes, and needs of people. And if you look long enough they might reveal more about who we are than any picture-perfect facade could.
